Responsibilities of Bookeeper: Responsible for posting all transactions into Quickbooks and Xero Online Accounts software Credit Control / Chasing overdue accounts Input Supplier Invoices & Credits, matching these up to POs Ability to do monthly bank and direct debit reconciliation including use of FastPay direct debit software Production of monthly management information. Monthly payroll Submit Quarterly VAT returns Other basic admin duties Required Skills of Bookeeper: Good numerical and verbal reasoning Must be proficient in Quickbooks and/or Xero Online Accounts software Exceptional organiser An excellent telephone manner and ability to resolve customer and staff queries Be able to take responsibility keeping accounts up-to-date Team worker Proficient skills in Word, Excel, Outlook Experience with Brightpay At Smart IT, we don't just follow trends; we set them.
