Job Description
We're seeking an experienced PR account manager to join our team at Pic PR.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be well organised, personable and creative – three key traits for a PR professional.
Writing is a crucial part of PR, so we're looking for someone with excellent written ability. You'll be responsible for drafting and distributing press releases, creating engaging commentary on breaking news, and building relationships with media outlets.
Your day-to-day tasks may include:
* Drafting and distributing press releases and expert articles.
* Creating engaging commentary on breaking news or events.
* Building relationships with media outlets, including creating relevant lists and carrying out comprehensive media 'sell-ins' via phone and email.
* Liaising with journalists and clients regarding potential media opportunities.
* Using and managing the agency's PR software.
* Organising media competitions, press stays, and setting up briefing opportunities.
* Delegating tasks to junior members within your pod team and supporting their progression.
* Assisting in turning press assets into content for web copy and social posts.
* Weekly and monthly reporting.
* Assisting in the delivery of strategies and campaigns for clients.

Estimated salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
