The Client - This large organisation operates across a broad remit through its specific departments. Currently, the Community & Wellbeing directorate is seeking an individual to deliver projects via funds from the Department of Communities. The Role - 36 hours per week Monday to Friday, hybrid structure with a base site of Bangor. Due to the nature of the work, the successful candidate will need a valid driving license with access to a form of transport that will allow fulfilment of the duties. Duties would include but not be limited to: Develop systems to ensure financial management administrative systems required to control, monitor and report on expenditure of allocated grants/funds. Support Service User Manager to compile complex grant claims from appropriate funding bodies. Prepare and monitor financial data regarding relevant third-party operator contracts. To prepare and provide financial information to the Community Development in compliance with Council policies. To run relevant procurement exercises in line with Council procurement policy. To administer, manage, coordinate, promote/market and evaluate funded projects, in line with funders/ Council Requirements. To manage relationships with all funded projects. Qualifications: To be educated to 'A' level standard or equivalent. Desirable: Level 4 qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g. community development, urban regeneration, business studies) Experience: Third level Finance or business-related qualification/ Community Development or a further 2 years' experience in addition to the experience as listed below. A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience, working in a finance and grant related role. Desirable: Additional relevant experience in community development/programmes/ Additional relevant qualification in Community Development.
