You will be an essential part of our Human Resources team, offering valuable advice and support to both employees and management. Your role will encompass a mix of employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, projects, HR guidance and supporting the team at all levels.
You will play a vital role in promoting a positive workplace culture and ensuring adherence to HR policies and relevant employment laws.
As a generalist, you will be a versatile and integral member of the Human Resources team, assisting and supporting a wide range of HR functions to ensure the smooth operation of our organisation.
* Ability to provide strategic HR advice and align HR strategies with business objectives
* Understanding of workforce planning, talent management, and organisational development
* Managing complex employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
* Ability to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
* Designing and implementing performance management programs including goal setting, performance reviews and career conversations
* Supporting managers in improving employee performance and productivity
* Providing guidance on succession planning and talent development
* Identifying training needs and developing programs
* Delivering HR training sessions and mentoring junior HR professionals
* Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers
* Building and maintaining trusted working relationships across the organisation
* Driving strategic HR initiatives to improve business outcomes
* Supporting organisational transformation and change management efforts
* Offer proactive support to the HR team and provide coverage for the HR Administrator / HR BP role when needed
* Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on a wide range of HR matters
* Assist with HR projects and initiatives as assigned
* Good level of experience in HR support roles, with a focus on employee relations and advisory functions
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of complex employment law and regulations that need to be considered within the role
* Can critically evaluate data and tasks to ensure adherence to regulations and actively provide advice and guidance on employment laws, regulations, and best practices
* Achieved CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in Human Resources
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Utilise Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI and MS Project confidently
* Working knowledge of SharePoint and understanding of data analytics; some knowledge of PowerBi
* In-depth experience with HR software and systems
* Knowledge of basic AI technologies and how to apply them responsibly to enhance the quality of HR work
* Experience reviewing company benefits and advising on changes
