Job Summary and Purpose:
Due to high growth, we are looking for qualified Registered General Nurses with strong cardiac recognition and interpretation skills to join our Clinical Operations Team as a Cardiac Physiologist.
This exciting role also requires PC proficiency, excellent written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Please note, this is a non-patient facing role.
Responsibilities:
• Review patient’s ECG data and related algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and completeness, utilising iRhythm’s Quality Analysis tools
• Effectively communicate ECG abnormalities as required and in accordance with physician notification protocol.
• Perform 100% quality assurance of the final report sent to physicians and provide report format modifications & additions as requested
• Maintain compliance with job specific proficiency requirements, including completion of CCT (US) certification
• Continuously develop clinical knowledge, particularly ECG rhythm interpretation skills
• Communicate with internal and external customers as required
Work Schedule:
• Monday – Friday: 40 hours per work week - must have the ability/flexibility to work between the core hours 8am - 6pm.
• This is a Full-Time, remote working role. However, the team will meet quarterly onsite in Bagshot, Surrey (travel and accommodation costs are eligible for reimbursement).
About You:
You are a qualified and experienced Registered General Nurse eager to join a fast-growing and dynamic organisation.
Additionally, you have:
• Significant post-qualification experience as Registered General Nurse
• Nursing qualification
• Recognised ECG interpretation certificate e.g. SCST Certificate of ECG qualification or you must be prepared to obtain this certification while in role.
• Extensive work experience in a Cardiology Dept/Unit or in an area with focus on ECG monitoring for example ICU/ED
• Intermediate level PC proficiency
• Excellent attention to detail
• Positive attitude and team player
• Ability to use critical thinking skills
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Knowledge of medical terminology specific to Cardiology
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
• Great work ethic and a desire to provide high quality outcomes (reports) to our clients and patients
