Are you an experienced administrator and enjoy working as part of a team? At KIMS Hospital we have an exciting opportunity to join our Front of House team as a Customer Service Administrator. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to multiple departments around the hospital including Main Reception, Outpatients and Pre-assessment. You will be patient focused with a desire to deliver the highest levels of customer service. This role is ideal for someone who has worked front of house in a high-end hospitality or retail environment. Experience in a health care setting is advantageous but not essential. This a permanent part-time role, 30 hours per week, working flexibly to cover operating hours of 06.30am – 20.30pm Monday to Sunday. Role Responsibilities Include Welcome all patients, visitors, consultants and staff to KIMS and provide direction to the hospital departments when required Face to face and telephone liaison with patients and consultants providing information where requested and making appointments Management of patient appointments and records liaising with patients and hospital staff as required Ensure that a prompt, accurate and proficient administration service is provided to all departments within the hospital Be aware of confidentiality and discretion when dealing with patients, visitors, consultants and staff Person Specification Be educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) Have a proven experience in a customer service role Strong organisational and time management skills Able to work proactively, on own initiative with minimal supervision Have strong IT skills including Microsoft Office packages and customer management databases KIMS Hospital is the largest independent hospital in Kent and we care about our staff.
