Inclusion Centre Manager
Grade 9 SCP25 – SCP28 – starting salary £30,356.31 rising to £32,685.05 through incremental progression
Permanent, Term Time only to Include Inset Days
37 hours per week, Monday -Thursday 08:30hrs – 16:30hrs Friday 08:30 -16:00hrs to include a 30-minute unpaid break
Start Date: ASAP
Job purpose:
* To effectively manage and lead the Inclusion Centre
* Support and encourage Downlands ethos, values, policies and procedures by successfully ensuring students uphold the highest standards of behaviour in the inclusion unit
* Create a bespoke program for identified vulnerable learners.
* To support children to re-engage with their learning and to build their confidence, self-esteem, social skills and academic attainment.
* To help develop and implement Alternative Provision curriculum and intervention strategies, including a remote learning option
* Manage key documentation for the Inclusion Centre
* Work with external agencies that help provide a program for vulnerable learners.
* Work with specialised colleagues in SEND department, Pastoral team and SEMH specialists
