We have an exciting opportunity for a experienced Programme Manager to manage Ledger Replacement Programme within CFO division that often cross divisional boundaries, ensuring synergy with corporate strategy and enabling business areas to achieve strategic objectives.
You’ll be proactively monitoring and controlling the programme progress, costs and benefits realisation using a range of review mechanisms and will keep key stakeholders up to date while highlighting any potential risks and issues.
As Programme Manager, you need to establish the full scale and scope of the projects and the impact that delivery will have on shareholder value and manage the different individuals involved.
The difference you’ll make:
1. Ensuring the programme scope and impact is clear and agreed by the Sponsors before initiation and changes to scope are tracked throughout delivery.
2. Overseeing operation of an effective PMO, ensuring core processes are operated, management information and MI around project performance is developed and made available as required to inform project oversight and governance.
3. Delivering Ledger Programme to the highest level of governance within the organisation and responsible for presenting findings and recommendations at Director level that will bring about significant business improvement and policy change.
4. Leading the creation and oversees the effective management of the required programme communication and stakeholder management plan.
5. Overseeing and managing milestones, budget and resource plans across the projects’ life cycle.
What you’ll bring:
6. Experience of managing large scale transformation system projects within large financial institution
7. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills - persuades and influences at Exco and Director level, using a range of approaches to achieve our common goal
It would also be nice for you to have:
8. Understanding and application of Programme and Project Management competencies including stakeholder management, contractual scope, plans, costs, quality, HR, communications, risk, procurement, and integration.
9. Knowledge of IT infrastructure and implications of changes made by the projects/programmes.
10. Strong financial skills to forecast and manage programme, project and departmental budgets and costs.
11. Proven track record on the successful management and mitigation of risks associated to the programme’s implementation.
