About the role We are looking for a Credit Rating Risk Manager to take a leading role on the activities relating to oversight of investment risk management particularly with regard to credit rating methodologies and assessments. Responsibilities Oversight of credit rating methodologies produced by Line 1 to ensure all risks are considered Review and challenge of: internal ratings assigned to new investments Review and challenge of Just’s credit watchlist Oversight of compliance with Just’s Credit Ratings Validation Framework, which is designed to ensure compliance with SS 3/17 Illiquid Unrated Assets. Review and perform analysis on new fund manager credit rating methodologies Line 2 oversight and challenge of validation activities as set out in the Credit Rating Validation Framework The postholder will also be expected to be involved in overseeing the attestation with regard to ensuring that the spread reflects the risks. Skills & Experience It is essential that you have experience within a credit rating agency or ratings team within an asset manager/insurance company Experience developing and applying credit rating methodologies; or experience reviewing and challenging internal credit rating methodologies Line 2 risk management experience would be an advantage.
