NHS Lead Water Hygiene Technician
Location: Watford, with Nationwide travel, occasional travel to Tamworth head office
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000, DOE + overtime (c. £10k) + Vehicle and benefits
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours a week with regular overtime.

Water Environmental Treatment Limited (W.E.T) are a well-established Legionella compliance and water treatment company managing 1000s of sites throughout the UK.
We are looking for Water Hygiene Plumbers to join its head office team in Tamworth working throughout the UK due to continuing sales success and new client contracts.
This is a fantastic role for someone who is looking to increase their knowledge and training within the industry and looking to gain new skills and is looking to develop themselves over time.
NHS Lead Water Hygiene Technician - The Role:
This position is for an experienced Water Hygiene Technician to take a lead role working primarily within a major NHS trust in Watford.
As a qualified Water Hygiene Technician Lead, you will be responsible for leading other technicians on site to ensure PPM tasks are completed to a good standard within the specified time. Signing off new technicians on site as competent, auditing of those technicians to ensure they are working competently and delivering compliance. You will also be the main liaison between the company and the trusts key stake holders.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Required:
Proven experience in water hygiene, monitoring, inspection, service and disinfections
Have good experience of working within large NHS facilities
Have proven experience in leading teams to deliver works on time
Previous experience, good to have but training can be provided:
Disinfection works such as cold water storage tank cleans, mains injections
Plumbing experience whilst not a requirement would be beneficial.
