About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Registered Home Manager to lead a mid-sized residential care home in Manchester, providing exceptional care for elderly and dementia residents. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated leader to oversee all aspects of the home's operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring efficient running and maintaining high-quality standards.
* Supervise and support a team including the Deputy Manager, Unit Manager, and Care Assistants.
* Oversee financial management, adhering to budgetary guidelines and reporting business performance to the Directors annually.
* Ensure compliance with CQC standards, maintaining a Good rating across all areas.
* Manage staff scheduling, performance reviews, and coordinate staff holidays.
* Provide leadership, direction, and support to all staff, fostering a positive and professional environment.
Essential Requirements:
* At least two years of experience as a Registered Manager in an elderly residential care home, with a proven track record of maintaining high standards and a Good CQC rating.
* NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards).
* Strong knowledge of CQC guidelines and the ability to work effectively within these standards.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
* Ability to motivate and manage a diverse care team.
