● Processing and shipping parts requirements for Service activities.
● Assisting Logistics Operative with general goods in, goods out and stock control.
General Responsibilities:
1. Picking, packing and despatch of sales and service orders in a timely manner and in accordance with ISO processes and procedures.
2. Receipt, booking in, inspection and storage of components in a timely manner and in accordance with ISO processes and procedures.
3. Loading and unloading goods vehicles, and moving stock around the site in a safe and efficient way.
4. Liaison with transport companies/couriers.
5. Raising, issuing and completing Works Orders using company ERP system, in accordance with ISO processes and procedures.
6. Undertaking checks and inspections on tools, machinery, PPE and other items as required.
7. Advising Procurement Officer of any shortages and Operations Manager of any issues that could cause delays.
8. Maintaining good communication in a co-operative and professional manner at all levels and with all departments within the company.
9. Understanding of the quality procedures relating to the position, including following all work procedures and work instructions.
10. Raising inaccuracies with procedures, and suggesting possible solutions where known.
11. Striving to improve quality and performance.
12. Keeping the work area clean and tidy (in line with 5S principles).
13. Ensure Company's Health & Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality Strategies, Policies and Objectives are adhered to and report any deficiencies to your Line Manager.
14. Other tasks as requested by Line Manager.
Qualifications
Essential skills or experience:
* Experience of working in a logistics or production environment.
