About the Role: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs. Key Responsibilities: Morning Support : Provide focused assistance to students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, including those with ADHD and potential self-harming behaviors. Afternoon Flexibility : Adapt your support across Key Stages 1 and 2, catering to a variety of educational needs and ensuring all students get the care they deserve. What We’re Looking For: Experience : Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge : A solid understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices is essential. Team Player : You’re a collaborative team member who can also work independently when needed. Communication Skills : Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with students and staff. Qualifications : Relevant qualifications or training in education, SEN, or child development are desirable. Safeguarding and child protection are at the heart of what we do.
