A world-renowned luxury automotive brand that has been crafting iconic, high-performance vehicles for over a century is currently seeking a Project Engineer – Infotainment. The successful candidate will lead all discussions on Infotainment features, lead resolution of complex problems during development and overall project life cycle. Own and be responsible for feature definition & ownership, Component ownership and delivery responsible for infotainment components.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with component & feature owners to define the diagnostic concept for manufacturing end of line routines & service diagnostics.
2. Create DFMEA and DVP for responsible components.
3. Manage Cyber Security related tasks at the concept and system level, including item definition and definition of security goals.
4. Ensure the programme quality, cost, weight, function, and timing requirements for the systems and features responsible for.
5. Oversee functional safety related tasks at the concept and system level, including item definition, HARA, definition of safety goals, and impact analysis.
Requirements:
1. Knowledge of the manufacturing processes to create the components or systems.
2. Engineering degree.
3. Technical engineering background with a comprehensive knowledge of using calculations and analysis to drive design.
4. Record of delivering Electrical or Electronics commodities, including quality, cost, function, weight, and timing.
5. Experience of vehicle level system integration in terms of hardware and software.
6. Experience of software development processes and managing software delivery.
7. Experience of managing ASIL A / ASIL B ECUs.
8. Defining and delivering infotainment systems, Navigation, Bluetooth, Media devices, Tuner, and Infotainment HMI.
9. Delivery experience on Infotainment OS system (Windows, Linux, QNX, etc.).
