Description We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant individual to join our team as an Invigilator. The successful candidate will be responsible for invigilating Functional Skills assessments in English and Mathematics for Phase 2 Royal Logistic Corps soldiers and other Pearson TQ apprentices at Buckley Barracks, Hullavington. This role encompasses invigilation of exams, mock assessments, e-learning sessions, and BKSB initial and diagnostic assessments. CONTEXT Pearson TQ is a provider of outsourced training services to the UK Ministry of Defence, other public sector organisations and private companies both in the UK and overseas. This role will support Functional Skills delivery as part of the Royal Logistic Corps Army Apprenticeship contract with the MoD as well as other apprenticeships managed by Pearson TQ. KEY OUTPUTS Prepare and administer Functional Skills English and Mathematics exams, ensuring exams are uploaded promptly for marking. Ensure the JCQ and Awarding Body Instructions for Conducting Examinations (ICE) are adhered to during all exams. Maintain direct control and supervision of all learners undergoing assessments/exams. Maintain accurate records of examinations undertaken, including seating plans, supervision reports, and attendance registers. Submit completed examination paperwork in a timely manner. Conduct BKSB initial and diagnostic assessments with learners and invigilate BKSB online learning. Set up English and Mathematics mock assessments, invigilate them, and print results. Oversee English and Mathematics paper mock tests, then provide the completed tests to the Functional Skills Tutor for grading. Maintain accurate daily records of learners' attendance and achievements and report any absences. Undertake appropriate staff development activities to support personal growth and ensure conformity with standards.
