We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Hewell, a category B & C Prison located in Redditch, Worcestershire.
In this role you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without having to compromise on efficiency and quality.
Hours
In this role, you will work Mon Fridays, from 09:00 17:00.
However, there may be a possibility to work either long day or twilight shifts.

Main duties of the job
As a Bank Advanced Nurse Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary. You will
1. Provide clinical leadership for primary care team; made up of a variety of registered and non-registered professionals
2. Provide clinical input for all patients. As a clinical expert in your field, you will work with the team to ensure; patient safety, the management of complex cases and ensure the most up to date treatment methodology is applied to patient care.
3. Be accountable for your practice including the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge or referral of patients, independent of medical intervention.

Qualifications & Experience required
11. Registered professional with current registration (NMC)
12. Evidence of Continued Professional Development
13. Masters in Advanced Practice or equivalent
14. Recognised prescribing qualification
15. Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working

As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner withPractice Plus Group you will need expert clinical skills and demonstratejudgement in assessing and managing wide ranging and complex patientproblems. You will provide clinicalleadership for the mental health team. This multi-disciplinary team is made upof a variety of registered and non-registered professionals including; mentalhealth, and substance misuse practitioners. You will act as a role modelensuring professional appearance and maintaining professional standards at alltimes.
Supporting senior clinicians on siteyou will be part of the daily leadership team, providing clinical input for allpatients. As a clinical expert in your field, you will work with the team toensure; patient safety, the management of complex cases and ensure the most upto date treatment methodology is applied to patient care.
