Silverdale School is looking to employ a Teaching Assistant for Learning, Guidance, and Support to deliver one-to-one learning and class support. You will be working with students who have Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs to support them in developing positive social skills and accessing activities and lessons throughout the day.
You will have access to quality Continuous Professional Development, including Physical Intervention training delivered by Lead Price Instructors.
Silverdale School believes in developing staff; over 50% of our teachers started their journey at Silverdale as part of the support team, and 3 of our SLT are former support staff.
To apply, you must:
* Have a level 2 qualification in English and Maths (If you don’t have level 2, then we can start on grade 5 and support qualification to level 2)
* Good communication skills
* Be a team player
* Resilient and dedicated to supporting children
Silverdale is an educational setting for children aged 3-16 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties.
