Join Ofwat's People Hub Team as a Senior Associate People Partner About Us Were Ofwat, the Water Services Regulation Authority a non-ministerial government department responsible for regulating the water sector in England and Wales. As the economic regulator of water and wastewater companies in England and Wales, our role is to enable, incentivise and hold companies to account for providing the very best for customers, communities and the environment now and in the future. We also oversee the markets in the water sector to ensure theyre working for customers. The work that youll be involved in every day will help us to deliver our strategy, to make us the regulator we want to be and help the sector to deliver for customers and society. The Role We have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Associate People Partner to join our People Hub team within Corporate Enablers. The Corporate Enablers directorate provides professional corporate enabling services, including Finance, Procurement, IT, Workplace Services, and People. These services ensure that Ofwat runs efficiently and smoothly, contributing to the achievement of our Time to Act strategy and making Ofwat a high performing and great place to be. Our People Hub currently consists of 23 people and this People Partner role is one of five that reports into the Head of HR. You'll be a part of an engaged, friendly, and change oriented team. About You Experience, skills and knowledge Experience of employee relations casework, such as absence and performance management. Good working knowledge of employment law and developments employment legislation. Experience in challenging and influencing the thinking of others, including senior leaders. Experience of protecting an organisation through implementing risk management and compliance procedures whilst understanding the complexities of the public sector (for example, working to high standards and ensuring excellent decision making). Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience of relationship building at all levels.
