We have an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic to join our team at HMP Dovegate, a category B Prison located in Uttoxeter.
This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to £44,992 per annum - depending on experience. Part time considered.

Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
Main duties of the job
With the ability to think on your feet and a flexible attitude. Capable of demonstrating initiative, you'll have proven post-registration experience in any of these following clinical areas: Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments, Minor Injuries / Illness Units.
As a Paramedic, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Provide outstanding evidence-based care to our patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them - focusing on emergency and unplanned care to patients with both primary care and acute care needs.

Qualifications required
* Qualified Paramedic
* Current professional registration (HCPC)
* Proven post-registration ambulance experience
* Evidence of continued professional development
* A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
* Proven experience in either: Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments or Minor injuries / illness
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
