Job Description
We are on the lookout for a dedicated Complex Care Support Worker experienced in specialised care techniques. If you are skilled in hoisting, sling use, slide sheet transfers, and comprehensive personal care, and have experience with non-verbal clients, we would love to hear from you. Collaborative teamwork with a live-in care team is essential.
As a Complex Care Support Worker at Home Instead Southend, your responsibilities will include:
-Companionship and Support: Engage with clients through conversation, shared activities, and outings to enrich their lives.
-Advanced Personal Care: Assist with complex personal hygiene needs, exercises, and daily routines while ensuring dignity and respect.
-Specialized Equipment Use: Operate hoists, slings, and slide sheets proficiently to guarantee client safety and comfort.

Qualifications
While specific qualifications in complex care are preferred, your compassion, reliability, and commitment to making a difference are highly valued.
We seek availability from either Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday, with working hours between 7am to 2pm, 4pm to 10pm, or 6pm to 10pm, allowing you to choose a schedule that suits your personal commitments.
