Introduction
We are looking for a GQS Coordinator. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing innovative technical solutions and problem-solving expertise for customer requests. You’ll evaluate inquiries, coordinate parts identification, and support product lines, ensuring compatibility with Metso parts and services.
As a GQS Coordinator at Metso, you’ll be at the heart of our dynamic operations, playing a pivotal role in supporting value-based pricing strategies and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction through technical excellence. Join our global team and collaborate with experts worldwide to deliver outstanding customer support and drive our mission forward. This position is based in our York, PA office.
What you’ll do:
* Provide technical and commercial support through part identification, research of pricing and costing history, and defining logistics path to ensure efficient delivery to customer.
* Collaborate with key expert networks, both locally and globally, to address complex requests.
* Research parts history to identify commonalities and support global harmonization efforts.
* Raise requests within SAP for creation and harmonization of Material Master Data.
* Support Procurement Specialists in supply determination.
* Provide clear instructions for Master Data modifications in the ERP system.
* Cross train with different product lines to develop technical knowledge for various Products.
* Responsible for expediting all activities on requests through daily communication with the Expert Network including Product Management, Purchasing, and Engineering to meet customer requirements.
* Establish and maintain a good company image by providing exceptional customer service, a professional attitude and up-to-date product knowledge.
* Improve efficiency of Quotation Response Time (QRT).
* Internal interfaces: Global Quotation Support, Quote and Order, Engineering, Product Management, Procurement and Data Management teams.
Who you are:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering or associates degree certification with relevant work experience in product support or engineering.
* Experience in mining, engineering, industrial or construction industry.
* Knowledge of Pyro Processing products (Preferable).
* Mechanical aptitude – ability to read and understand drawings.
* A prominent level of computer skills is essential – Excel, Word, and Power Point.
* Familiarity of ERP systems including SAP is preferable.
* Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce is preferable.
* Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to articulate and communicate topics within the area of expertise to all levels of the organization.
* High sense of urgency with the ability to develop action plans and meet deadlines.
* Reliable decision-making skills especially under pressure situations.
* Willingness to actively engage in problem solving opportunities.
