A primary school in the BL3 area is currently looking to recruit a professional and committed individual for the role of SEN Support Teaching Assistant to help create a supportive learning environment and engaging educational experiences for children across Year 1. The school works collaboratively with pupils and parents alike with the intention of building strong relationships built on trust. Many of their pupils possess unique gifts and interests that the school strive to nurture. This role would be 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday-Friday, term-time only until the end of the academic year (July 2025). Relevant education-based qualifications (level 2/3 education-based qualification) are preferred but not essential. Within this role, you will be expected to build strong relationships with pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities; to encourage positive choices and behaviour to work together with other SEN Support Teaching Assistants and class teachers and to get involved in foundation subjects (maths, English and phonics) to support those pupils with additional needs.
