The Team:
The Rostering & Information Office uses the CARE Values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence to provide assistance, training and support to managers relevant to the provision of rostering and associated services within Hospitals North including Launceston General Hospital, eight District Hospitals and Primary Health.
The Role:
* Provide advice, support, and assistance to managers and relevant staff in the utilisation of the rostering system, including the formulation of rosters within appropriate Awards, Award advice, education, and training.
* Maintain database integrity and confidentiality of information including reviewing and evaluating practices and standards relating to rostering.
* Undertake regular data audits of the rostering system to ensure best practice in respect to data integrity, to ensure accurate and timely reporting, working collaboratively with other team members of the Rostering and Information Office.
* Generate roster-related management reports for Managers as required, including reviewing the integrity of reports as required.
* Provide advice to Managers in the evaluation of procedures to ensure business processes and practices remain current.
* Undertake complex roster coding to support accuracy for the payment of staff and reporting requirements, while reflecting the Business Rules of staffing models, including resolving operational issues as required.
* Undertake quality improvement processes in conjunction with the Rostering and Information Office, to support business processes and effective resource management, including support for identified projects.
* The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties not specifically mentioned in this document that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.

* Focus on accuracy, attention to detail and data integrity is essential.
* The ability to work in a shared role with individual responsibilities to achieve team outcomes is required.
Details of appointment:
Fixed term, casual position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible until 30 June 2026.
* Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary: $73,811 - $79,779 pro rata, per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
