This 12 month contract will require monthly travel to Slovakia 1 week duration at a time. Job Purpose: Work in partnership with Haleon Research & Development (R&D) and Quality & Supply Chain (QSC) colleagues to manage the key strategic capital program to deliver the new Global Oral Health Scale Up Facility (GOHSU) at QSC facility in Slovakia with excellence. This programme management role requires an oversight of several work streams to deliver an operational R&D facility within the project timeline and budget. It is beneficial but not essential if the candidate has background knowledge or experience of a wide breadth of functions ranging from R&D lab systems/process equipment (analytical/microbiological testing through to pilot plant manufacturing), facility management systems, validation and compliance requirements. Scope of Role Responsible for ensuring workstreams are aligned to deliver the effective design, build and execution of the new scale up facilities (GOHSU) in Slovakia. Ensuring new facilities are delivered OTIF and in-line with the user requirement specification. Leadership Role model HALEON culture. Strong partnership with the Functional Leads, instilling and providing competence necessary to take on the most challenging objectives and drive accountability to others. Proficiency in driving resolution of team conflicts through skilled negotiation and diplomacy, elevating to accountable functional leaders or SteerCo as necessary. Foster an environment of enthusiasm, accountability, and teamwork, and help reward and celebrate achievements. Project Management Accountable for building project team (functions, people), partnering closely with cross-functional leadership. Guide core team to ensure timely decision making, effective stakeholder communication, adherence to applicable processes, contingency planning and execution. Accountable for assuring there is a clear project scope and strategy, aligned resource needs and comprehensive spend forecasts aligned to approved budgets. Develop & maintain comprehensive timelines in PPM system with cross-functional input considering dependencies and resource requirements. Drive functional areas’ probability of success assessments in support of project delivery activities. Proficiency in proactively identifying issues and driving resolution, with limited guidance. Assure comprehensive risk assessment and mitigation plans are in place for all projects. Ensure significant changes to the aligned business case are communicated rapidly and efficiently to appropriate leadership. Align & deliver all key project milestones to support appropriate metrics. Drive stakeholder engagement partnering closely with R&D Project Accountable Lead and action any Stakeholder/SteerCo meeting outcomes with broader project team. Experience: Project Management Certification preferred Proven delivery of effective project management across a range of project types and complexities. Has held project management and/or leadership positions in organizations of comparable size. Comfortable operating in situations characterised by complexity, ambiguity, and high levels of uncertainty Understanding of all the key business processes and functions within a transnational healthcare company Negotiation skills and ability to influence with or without authority at levels above and below own grade level Ability to influence & challenge through courageous conversations Ability to gauge & adjust communication style to audience Proficiency in role modeling accountability and holding others accountable Proficiency in building trust with teams and stakeholders Care to join us.
