Main duties of the job
You will be expected to deliver a consistently high quality clinical pharmacy service across community and mental health inpatient wards.
Work alongside the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT).
Be an integral part of the pharmacy team providing clinical pharmacy support to designated ward(s) and participate in the pharmacy departmental rota.

Job responsibilities
The must haves for this role:
* Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacist
* Postgraduate clinical qualification and hospital experience to be considered for band 7
* Have a flexible approach to work in order to meet the developing needs of the pharmacy service

Person Specification
Education/Qualifications/Training
* Postgraduate Pharmacy Certificate or Diploma (band 7)
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* Postgraduate Pharmacy Certificate or Diploma (band 6)
* Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain
Continuous Professional Development
* Evidence of continuing professional development and compliance with the GPhC CPD on-line recording system
* Willingness and ability to undertake all Trust statutory and mandatory training
Previous Experience
* Pre-registration training year in hospital pharmacy (band 7)
* Significant post registration experience in hospital pharmacy (band 7)
* Experience of providing medicines information to patients/carers
* Experience of audit or project facilitation
* Supervision of staff (band 7)
* Relevant, adequate number of years post-registration experience as a practising pharmacist (band 7)
* Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team and making clinically appropriate interventions (band 7)
* Proven experience of delivering responsibilities and objectives on time
* Experience working within Medicines Information (band 7)
