We are therefore looking to recruit motivated, hardworking paediatric nurses who have excellent communication skills and a passion for their role and improving patient care. When working clinically we expect you to perform with passion and drive, provide clinically excellent care, and be supportive to patients, relatives, and other MDT members. As a registered nurse, you will be expected to promote and lead the delivery of an excellent standard of patient-centred care in a supported environment.
The Trust has a dedicated international nursing recruitment programme in place; because of this, we ask international nurses to please not apply for our general nursing vacancies. We regularly advertise our opportunities for international nurses to join our nurse team here in Bolton and these adverts are clearly marked as being suitable for international applicants.
Main duties of the job
The hospital is known for being a friendly and supportive place to work; a large part of this is due to the teams that work here. As a qualified paediatric nurse, you can be assured that you will be supported and developed in your role. All our newly qualified nurses complete the Preceptorship Programme and are supported by the senior team, and the practice educators and development programmes are available for experienced staff.
The Family Division aims to deliver the highest standards of care for maternity, sexual health, gynaecology, and a range of acute and community children's services. The Division is a Centre of Excellence for Women's and Children's services and has a credible and enviable reputation. We deliver over 6,000 babies and carry out around 1,500 gynaecological procedures each year, making us a specialist provider of health services for women, babies, and their families in the North West Sector of Manchester and beyond.
We are seeking to recruit a Staff Nurse RN(Child)/RSCN to work on our Paediatric Ward, which is a combined medical and surgical ward with a dedicated HDU and Assessment Unit.
You must be motivated and committed to providing a quality service for children, young people, and their families. We are seeking nurses that can demonstrate the values of the Trust.
