Job Description:
We are looking to recruit a full Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Assistant at our branch located in Coventry. Knowledge of Proscript preferred but not essential.
As a distance-selling pharmacy, the right candidate must be proficient in using various computer software and systems, and possess exceptional communication skills via social media, emails, and telephone. This is often a fast-paced environment, and we're looking for people with a genuine passion for pharmacy. If you are interested in further developing your professional career, we can support you towards achieving this goal.
The right candidate will also be required to successfully complete a 3-month probationary period.

* The successful candidate will need to be confident to achieve some of the following duties:
* Achieve the best possible outcome through a person’s medicines by managing, ordering, receiving, maintaining, and supplying medicines and other pharmaceutical products safely, legally, and effectively, whilst meeting the regulatory standards.
* Provide person-centred health advice to all patients.
* Support the management of the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy, e.g., clinical governance, business operation and processes, including where appropriate the supervision of members of staff.
* Maintain a quality service through auditing and evaluating the service and processes, and respond to feedback.
* Advise people, in a wide range of settings, on the safe and effective use of their medicines and devices.
* Manage your own professional and personal development.
* Ensure patient safety by promoting safe practices and the effective use of systems.
* Provide specialist services in response to local and national needs and initiatives.
* Have basic knowledge in the provision of Medi-packs.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent
Salary: £23,840.00 - £26,000.00 per year, to be discussed with the successful candidate.
Experience:
* Some previous pharmacy experience preferred.
