Head of Business Development Real Estate - leadership client facing role heading all BD and marketing activities for the real estate group of ambitious national law firm.
This national law firm has ambitious plans for growth and has recruited a brand new BD leadership team in order to fulfil this. The firm also boasts a relaxed and supportive culture.
In this Head of Business Development role, you will lead a small team and head all business development and marketing for the firm’s real estate group. Most importantly, the firm is driving a new sales culture and as part of this, the role will be client facing as you build and maintain relationships with clients.
NB – the role can be based in London or in one of the firm’s other offices across the UK.
Responsibilities:
1. Developing and executing the strategic plan for the real estate group;
2. Building and developing relationships with clients and industry bodies;
3. Working with the partners to ensure that they are executing business development plans and cross-selling;
4. Horizon scanning and identifying new opportunities and new growth markets;
5. Attending and networking at industry events;
6. Conducting client feedback;
7. Measurement and monitoring financial performance and profitability of the group;
8. Manage a small team.
You will have a significant track record in a business development role, within a major law firm or leading real estate consultancy. You will be comfortable in a client facing role and have the gravitas to influence and persuade partners.
