About the Role:
As a Unit Nurse Manager (General), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to residents in our care home. You will plan, manage and monitor the delivery of nursing care that meets the needs of all residents. This involves implementing person-centred care plans that make a real difference to residents' day-to-day lives.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Planning rotas
* Recruiting, training and mentoring staff
* Building relationships with local regulators and social services
You will have the freedom and autonomy to take your unit from strength to strength, with plenty of opportunities for professional development.
About You:
To be successful as a Unit Nurse Manager (General), you will need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with a current NMC registration. You should have experience in producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, and an up-to-date knowledge of recent clinical practices and regulatory frameworks.
You will be a natural leader who has acted as a clinical mentor, supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship. You will be dedicated, ambitious and resilient, with a strong track record of delivering improvements to achieve quality care.
