The Priory Learning Trust (Somerset Business Award winner for Employer of the Year 2023) is looking to recruit a Student Services Manager to work at The King Alfred School - An Academy in Highbridge - rated 'Good' by Ofsted November 2022.This role will suit an enthusiastic individual who is able to multi-task, has willingness to learn & develop and is flexible/adaptable in their approach. The successful applicant must be organised, resilient and be an effective line manager.
As the Student Services Manager, you will play a key role in establishing supportive relationships with students, parents and the wider team. Applicants should be professional, personable and committed to providing an excellent service on behalf of the school and wider Trust, and above all else our appointed candidate will have a positive work ethic and can-do attitude. As part of this role, you will;Responsible for the Student Services Team & a variety of attached functions in order to provide a comprehensive range of support predominantly to students & parents, but also to teachers, support staff and external stakeholders.
Manages all communication to parents & the local community, utilising a variety of methods available and promoting TKASA in a positive manner.
Line manage a team, including conducting annual appraisals and mid-year reviews for reportees, training, absence cover and support for reportees.
The successful candidate will have;Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent
First Aid at Work (3 day)
Previous office manager experience preferably working with young people and families.
IT skills - Experience of Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word.

This role involves working with children on a daily basis and is therefore in regulated activity.
