Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stroke Data Admin Support Officer within Integrated Geriatric & Stroke Medicine. The Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP) is a major healthcare quality improvement programme that measures the quality and organisation of stroke care in the NHS and is the single source of data in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

Main duties of the job
1. To be responsible for collating and inputting data on to the SSNAP web tool.
2. To collate and process other data required for monitoring the performance of the stroke pathway.
3. In conjunction with the Stroke Data Coordinator, be responsible for abstracting and analysing patient clinical information and producing reports for Senior Managers, MDT Leads, and Clinical Director.
4. The post holder will prioritise work according to changing demands and trust targets.
5. This vacancy requires working between all sites across Sheffield Teaching Hospitals including community sites.

Education and Qualifications
Essential
* Level 3 qualification and/or evidenced vocational experience, knowledge, and training (AS level, A Level, Advanced Apprenticeships, NVQ level 3, Relevant/Evidenced Vocational Experience).
* GCSE level grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent qualification/experience).
* NVQ level 2 in IT or equivalent experience.
Experience

* Clerical background with experience in data collection, data entry, and validation.
* Computer literate in Microsoft Office Applications.
* Familiarity with medical records and experience in a healthcare environment.
Desirable
* Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
