Graduate Town Planner - Kent
Salary: £23,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience)
An independent and forward-thinking planning consultancy is seeking a motivated Graduate Town Planner to join their team in Kent. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to develop their career within a consultancy that provides creative and strategic planning advice across a range of sectors, predominantly in Kent and the South East.
About the Role
The successful candidate will support the team in delivering high-quality planning solutions, working collaboratively with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders. The role involves:
Assisting with site appraisals and research into development potential.
Supporting the coordination and submission of planning applications.
Engaging with local authorities and stakeholders to facilitate successful planning outcomes.
Contributing to the promotion of land through the Local Plan process.
Helping to prepare planning statements, appeal documentation, and community engagement materials.This consultancy prides itself on providing practical, professional, and ethical planning advice. About You
The ideal candidate will have:
A degree or master's in Town Planning or a related discipline.
A keen interest in UK planning policy and development.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
