The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a Trust Research Doctor who will be based at the NIHR Clinical Research Facility on the Trust's Wonford site. This appointment provides an excellent opportunity for a doctor to gain experience of early phase and experimental clinical research across a breadth of commercial and non-commercial clinical trials and studies in a range of medical specialities within the supportive environment of a successful and established NIHR facility within a leading teaching and research hospital.

Job responsibilities
The post holder will work alongside experienced Chief and Principal Investigators (CI/PI) within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the clinical operations of our units. The post holder will provide medical support for patients and healthy volunteers participating in the Trust's portfolio of clinical trials and studies.
The post would suit doctors looking for opportunities to engage in clinical research and is offered up to 0.8 fte. The post will be appointed at an ST3-ST6 dependent on experience. Flexible working arrangements are fully supported, there is no on-call commitment.
Working Pattern: 32 hours
