To support the assessment of children and young people with intellectual disabilities and mental health difficulties. Hold a caseload of patients and to be supervised by a qualified clinical psychologist. Multi-disciplinary team working with the entire Learning Disability Community Team to deliver holistic, evidence based, assessments and interventions Deliver, under supervision, specific therapeutic interventions to meet the physical, emotional and psychological, social, cultural and spiritual needs of individuals and carers. Contribute to the development and running of the Challenging Behaviour Treatment Pathway under supervision. Undertake protocol based psychological assessments of clients under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist. Attend and contribute to appropriate multi-disciplinary meetings. Maintain the highest standard of clinical record keeping including electronic data entry andrecording, in accordance with professional codes of practice of the British Psychological Societyand Trust policies and procedures.
