Senior Landscape Planner - Relocate to Western Australia

Who are we looking for?
We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Landscape Planner or a Landscape Architect, with a keen interest in developing skills in Landscape Visual Impact Assessment and Landscape Character Assessment to join our Planning, Consultation and Urban Design team in Western Australia.
You will work alongside our technical specialists and receive training and development in impact assessment, strategic planning, policy research and design influence enabling you to build upon your skills and experience, as you forge a career path in this growing specialist team.
You’ll support a diverse range of projects through your contribution to technical review work, project management, proposal writing, and client partnerships, and you'll develop your capabilities to become a great technical consultant.

This rare and exciting opportunity has great scope and will see you involved in:
1. Lead a diverse range of projects including technical reporting, project management, and proposal writing. In doing this, you will further develop your capabilities as a technical consultant.
2. Lead site assessments in remote and diverse landscapes across WA and inter-state.
3. Support the skill development of other team members, provide mentoring support, and technical reviews and be integral in shaping the direction of the team.
4. Utilise your technical strength to engage with clients, build a market profile, develop business opportunities and win work.
5. Provide landscape and urban design advice relating to LVIA.
What would you bring to the team?
1. Bachelor’s/master’s degree in landscape architecture or similar such as Urban Design, Environmental Planning and Geography.
2. A minimum of 8 years experience in LVIA or a similar field.
3. Accredited Member of the Australian Institute Landscape Architects (AILA) or industry equivalent.
4. Proven experience in a similar role, requiring a level of technical expertise and capability to drive effective delivery of projects.
