Searcys is looking for an Assistant Events Manager. As an Assistant Events Manager, you will lead the teams and support the successful delivery of the Food and Beverage Events Operation.
Most events occur between Monday and Friday, and as part of your role, you will be expected to deliver events in the evenings and occasionally on weekends, so flexibility is essential.

Job Description
Assistant Events Manager
£33000 - £35000
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide venue-specific catering and logistical support for all events held within Allen & Overy Shearman, One Bishop Square. The Assistant Events Manager will be reporting to the Events Manager.
SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
13. First & ongoing point of contact in the planning of all onsite event logistics, incorporating Catering, Housekeeping, AV & IT, Front of House and Security.
14. As the Assistant Events Manager, you will be an integral part of the team, developing strong working relationships and communication channels with key Allen & Overy Shearman departments. This includes the Facilities Team Leaders and managers, Events and marketing, PR and communications, Business Development, and Business Services Department Heads.
15. Determine and develop event objectives, requirements, and expectations with event bookers. Ensure all bookings are executed to the client’s expectations while maintaining the world-class service levels expected throughout the venue.
16. Assist in producing function sheets outlining facility team event requirements, including updating and communicating necessary amendments.
17. Undertake all relevant administration tasks as directed by the appropriate departmental manager.
18. Deputise for the Events Manager in their absence.
19. To carry out any other reasonable request made by Senior Managers.

20. You are experienced with managing multiple volume catering operations.
21. You have a real eye for detail and a positive attitude.
22. Your strong communication skills are a cornerstone of our operations. You are adept at collaborating effectively at all levels, both internally and with our clients
23. Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
24. Adaptability to changing event requirements
25. Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and team members
26. Organisational skills to coordinate all event logistics effectively.
