Job Description
You will be working as a Principal Systems Engineer within our close-knit multi-function radar team of interdisciplinary engineers, evolving our radar portfolio of existing and new radar products to address emerging and future threats in the realm of Future Air Dominance.

What you’ll be doing:
1. Develop novel solutions to technical challenges and emerging issues for complex Multi-Function Radar Systems faced by our customers and end-user communities.
2. Apply a broad range of knowledge, skills, and experience in Systems Engineering principles, techniques, and governance to develop technical solutions and resolve engineering issues.
3. Conduct system design analysis to manage trade-offs of system parameters, characterizing and specifying robust product designs.
4. Lead the decomposition of requirements to system and sub-system levels and manage these using approved tools such as IBM DOORS Next.
5. Serve as a technical focal point with a holistic understanding of system solutions, leading analysis activities, design decisions, and providing guidance to the team.
6. Collaborate with specialists across disciplines including electronics, electrical, mechanical, and software engineering to realize comprehensive system design solutions.
7. Oversee system integration, test planning, and execution.
8. Define and communicate system acceptance strategies and evidence demonstrating system performance across various operational scenarios to stakeholders.

Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Good understanding of areas such as signal processing, target track extraction, object classification algorithms, and system and sensor resource optimization.
* Understanding of factors influencing real-world sensing system performance and their impact on measurement accuracy and timeliness to meet challenging design objectives.
* Experience with Systems Engineering, including familiarity with standards like ISO 15288.
* Experience presenting technical and non-technical information in formal settings.
