Commercial Finance Manager
Location – Central London (we’re just
a 5-minute walk from Oxford Circus)
Salary – up to £75k + Bonus and a

The purpose of the role is to take a senior role in a highly
responsive team that can work at pace and meet the needs of key stakeholders,
which includes but is not limited to the following: CEO, CFO, MD’s Marketing
Directors, Ops Directors, and Shared Service Exec team.
Proactively providing support and analysis to understand and
drive site and brand performance, the commercial finance manager will need to
utilise critical thinking and effective prioritisation to support growth of the
business in revenue maximisation and cost optimisation.
Key areas of focus will include sales & marketing,
margin (menu & pricing), labour (optimisation) and will include site, brand,
and group focus. The commercial finance team act as the commercial conscience
on all decisions, including the assessment and prioritisation of capital and
have ownership in the delivery of Sales, Cost of sales and labour budgets for
annual and quarterly budget cycles.
In addition, it will play a pivotal role in supporting
projects as well as non-brand areas such as Shared Services & Central
Support.
The Commercial Finance team is part of a wider Group Finance
function and at times will support the wider finance team as necessary on essential
requirements and priorities.
This is a hands-on role that requires an experienced
individual that can work with a broad range of stakeholders and who has the skillset
and critical thinking to drive the financial and commercial requirements of the
wider Group.
To be successful in this role, you will need to
have the following skills and experience:
* Qualified Accountant (3+ years PQE) with
multi-site experience.
* Experience in leading a team,
with ability to prioritise, flex and drive team requirements.
* Highly personable with critical thinking to drive team
performance and deliver on group requirements.
* Effective communicator & able to
balance sometimes conflicting priorities.
* Can roll up sleeves & get things done.
* Growth mindset with ability to partner
and challenge key senior stakeholders outside of finance.
* Strong written and verbal communication
skills.
* Resilient and enjoys working in a
fast-paced environment.
