The Role: In your role as Team Manager, you will be responsible for proactively managing a team responsible for a variety of tasks related to the administration of Final Salary and Defined Contribution pension schemes. You will lead and coach your team effectively to deliver effective and consistent service to clients. This role will ideally be aligned to an Aptia Office in the UK on a hybrid-working basis. Other flexible working options may be considered by exception. What you’ll be doing: Ensuring team delivery aligns with agreed service levels and reporting requirements, as well as within specified costs and timescales Maintaining a clear understanding of client profitability and expected service levels Oversee the ongoing training of your team to ensure knowledge and skills are being developed continuously Ensuring your team complies with internal procedures, all aspects of pensions legislation and adherence to service and quality standards Managing and distributing work effectively among the team to ensure accuracy and efficiency Liaising with onshore and offshore teams to ensure service issues are managed and resolved Liaising with the Client Relationship Manager to ensure client expectations for all schemes are met by the team Provision of management information and Administration client reports as required Recording and investigating any complaints raised, undertaking root cause analysis and taking corrective action as required What we’re looking for: Strong working knowledge of Master Trust pension schemes, DC and DB pensions administration Experience managing a pensions administration team preferred, along with strong coaching and development skills Able to organise, prioritise and monitor work effectively among your team Computer literate across the MS Office suite, and pension administration systems Calm under pressure A PMI qualification, ideally working towards APMI would be an advantage If you are interested in this role and then we’d love to hear from you.
