Due to our continuous growth at RSS Infrastructure, Mechanical Maintenance Technicians are required for Signalling (S&T) projects across the UK. We work for a number of clients as a Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractor across England. Duties for the role of Signalling Technician:
1. Carry out maintenance work on signalling equipment in line with Network Rail standards and the timescale as specified in the maintenance schedule, Task Briefings and as directed by the Team Supervisor.
2. Assist in checking/investigating safety standards and/or system failures.
3. Work with and support the development of the signalling team.
4. Report problems arising during maintenance and following completion of work.
Role requirements:
1. Previous experience with semaphore signals, mechanical points, mechanical gates, SSI & RRI interlocking, block working etc.
2. IRSE not required, but desirable.
3. Car driver with ability to travel and potentially work away from home if necessary.
4. Ability to work nights and weekends.
Location:
Lincolnshire to Cambridgeshire. We welcome applicants from anywhere in the UK.
