About Our Client
My client are a non profit organisation based in the North East. Their mission is to conserve and enhance the cultural heritage of Northumberland.
Job Description
* Manage day-to-day financial operations within the company such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
* Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting.
* Participate in corporate budgeting process.
* Monitor and analyse financial performance and report on variances.
* Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
* Participate in preparation for the annual audit.
* Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Finance Officer should have:
* Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
* Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
* Proficiency in major accounting software programs.
* Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work within a team and independently when required.
