HAYLEY DEXIS are looking for a Data Coordinator to join our well-established and expanding Data team based at our headquarters in Halesowen.
About the role:
As our Data Coordinator, you will be responsible for entering and maintaining information relating to our customer and supplier records. Much of this work will be done via Microsoft Excel and fed into our ERP and MDM systems. The successful candidate will be joining our growing Data Team in Halesowen and will be working with colleagues in our Purchasing and Accounts Departments.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday, working 40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities as our Data Coordinator:
Data Cleansing:
* Removing Duplicates: Identifying and eliminating duplicate records to ensure each record is represented only once.
* Standardising Formats: Ensuring consistency in data formats, such as dates, phone numbers, and addresses.
* Correcting Errors: Fixing typos, misspellings, and incorrect information.
* Handling Missing Data: Filling in missing values or removing records with incomplete information.
* Validating Data: Checking data against predefined rules or external sources to ensure accuracy (e.g., verifying email addresses).
Data Enrichment:
* Appending Additional Information: Adding new data points to existing records, such as industrial information or contact data.
* Segmentation: Categorising organisations into segments based on behaviour, preferences, or other criteria.
* Linking External Data: Integrating data from external sources, such as third-party databases or marketing initiatives.
Skills we're looking for in our Data Coordinator:
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data management software.
* Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to handle large volumes of data while maintaining quality and consistency.
