Job Title: KS3 SEMH Tutor Location:

Education and Training
£20 - £30 Per hour
- Provide tailored support and guidance to Key Stage 3 students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Develop and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans to meet the individual needs of students
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external agencies to support student well-being and academic success
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a similar role
- Strong understanding of SEMH and its impact on learning
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective classroom management techniques
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Training in behaviour management strategies
This role involves working in a school or learners home setting, providing support to students with SEMH needs. Part-time hours are expected, with flexibility required to meet student needs and attend meetings with staff and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
