Sales Team Administrator
Hybrid - attached to the Solihull office
Full time, Permanent
Salary - Up to £25,000 per annum
Here at Serco, we are looking for a Sales Team Administrator to provide high level organisational and administrative support to the Sales Team. You will manage and monitor contractor resources including on-boarding, provision of IT, updates of all documentation, ensuring compliance, termination of resource etc.
If you have excellent communication skills, great attention to detail and are skilled in MS Office this could be the perfect role for you!
As part of this you'll:
1. Provide proactive and high-level administrative support to the sales team.
2. Take ownership of the team PO process for external spend.
3. Liaise with external agencies to support onboarding of third party contractors and consultancies ensuring compliance with LMS Serco Essentials training.
4. Ensure Success Profiles, PDR & Mid-Year review documentation is in place, following the correct process and documentation and filing with MyHR.
5. Organise inductions for new employees, including organisation and set up of phone/IT/training etc.
6. Maintain team development calendar & records.
7. Ad hoc troubleshooting of team issues.
8. Organise meetings, functional conferences and events.
9. Assure all people and financial services/processes are delivered in line with the Serco Management System (SMS), with the appropriate authority as outlined in the Delegated Authority Matrix (DAM).
10. Project management of specific tasks and initiatives as required.
What you'll need to do the role:
1. Excellent communication skills - builds strong relationships within the team and across divisional boundaries. Possesses excellent written communication skills.
2. Highly detailed, conscientious and delivery focused.
3. Able to deal with sensitive information.
4. Proactive decision making based on own initiative.
5. Highly developed analytical, research, problem solving and project management skills.
6. Excellent organisational ability with superior time management skills and the capacity to work independently to discharge tasks with initiative, responsibility and discretion.
7. Demonstrates a flexible approach to work, is self-motivated with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
8. Proficient in MS Office, strong MS PowerPoint skills.
9. Proficient in using SAP (Finance & HR).
