Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Skills Tutor to join our team. In this role, you will deliver personalised training and development sessions to individuals who are part of the Employment Restart Scheme. You will work with participants to help them enhance their employability skills, boost confidence, and support them in securing long-term, meaningful employment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality, interactive training sessions on employability skills such as CV writing, interview techniques, job search strategies, time management, and communication skills.
* Provide one-on-one coaching and guidance to individuals to address their specific needs and career goals.
* Assess participant progress and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement and engagement.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to participant support.
* Maintain accurate records of participant progress and achievements.
* Encourage and motivate participants to stay committed to their personal development and job search.
Specific Qualifications or Training Essential to the Job:
* Minimum of Level 3 teaching qualification.
* Minimum of Level 3 subject specific qualification or established expertise.
* Minimum Level 2 in English and mathematics.
* ICT Office skills and Internet usage.
* Relevant subject at degree level is essential for tutors delivering English and Mathematics outcomes.
