Position
We're on the lookout for someone with great resilience to become a valuable part of our team. The successful candidate will be supporting our wonderful students during the night this may include providing medications, supporting personal care where needed or just making them feel comfortable .
As part of the Residential Student Support Team, you will be vital in helping our students to get the most out living away from home in a safe and supportive environment. You will also be responsible for carrying out any checks required for individual students in a professional and timely fashion throughout the night. It is vital that you accurately record and report students’ needs and progress throughout the night.
We know working with care can bring unsociable hours and regular changing Rota's, so at Henshaws we offer our staff a fixed Rota! This allows our staff to fit work around life and not life around work.
Salary: £13.21 weekdays/£14.71 weekends - Over-time paid at enhanced rate £14.71 weekdays/£15.99 weekends
Hours: Shifts 9.45pm - 7.45am
Weeks: 38 term-time
Holiday: 6.78 weeks
Closing date: 28th February 2025 - 12 noon.
Requirements
Willingness to assist students with any personal care requirements as needed
Knowledge of care work and what this will involve including understanding dignity and respect
Hold Level 2/3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or Willingness to complete diploma in Health & Social Care within 2 years of employment
