If you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs (SEN), this is the perfect opportunity for you As a SEN Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping students with their learning, ensuring they feel supported and confident in their educational journey. You will assist students in overcoming barriers to learning, while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Responsibilities of the SEN Support Worker: Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN. Assist students in understanding their lessons and completing their tasks. Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt learning resources. Support students in their personal development and social skills. Maintain communication with teachers and other staff to ensure students’ needs are met. Help students stay engaged and motivated throughout the school day. Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students. Requirements of the SEN Support Worker: Experience working with students with special educational needs is beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students. A patient, empathetic, and caring approach to working with children. Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues. Eligible to work in the UK and hold Enhanced DBS on Update Service.
