REED Finance are working with a prestigious and dynamic company to find a Finance Manager / Financial Controller for their Southampton Office.

Based in central Southampton, this is an on-site role, expecting you to be in office Monday-Friday. There is parking on-site and ideally situated for public transport.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong all-round Accountant with experience of all aspects of accounting and reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As part of the management team, the key responsibilities of this role include:
* Production of monthly management accounts, P&L, B/S and C/F
* Production of cash, revenue and cost reports
* Analysis of variances between actual and forecasted/budgeted performance
* Ensure timely client billing, cash settlement and ledger maintenance
* Bank and Control account reconciliations
* Purchase ledger and payment of suppliers
* Payroll analysis and processing – from bureau reports
* Attend monthly business review meetings
* Ensure finance is run to period-end timetables and all financial records are maintained in an accurate and timely manner
* Produce and analyse annual budgets and monthly forecasts
* Assisting with the annual audit process
IT EXPERIENCE:
Microsoft Office with Excel, Sageline 200
ATTRIBUTES:
* Strong accounting skills to final TB
* Accurate, methodical and thorough
* Strong in reconciliation work
