We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our fantastic team at Pool House Vets. Primarily based at our Lichfield hospital, this role offers a varied and dynamic caseload, including shifts in theatre, kennels, and clinics. You will also provide support to our three branch practices and assist with out-of-hours care for multiple other practices, ensuring a diverse and rewarding workload. Working Pattern This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, including a 1 in 4 or 5 weekend rota. There are no night out-of-hours shifts, but some bank holiday cover will be required. Additional night shifts may also be available to cover staff holidays. What We're Looking For We are seeking a confident and skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse who is eager to develop their abilities in a busy, fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for inpatient care, assisting in theatre, running nurse clinics, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, as you will be required to triage patients over the phone, liaise with clients, and manage payments effectively.
