Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Maths Teacher with high-level technical abilities to contribute to innovating Maths delivery and enable the College to become a centre of excellence. Reporting to the Quality Improvement & Education Managers, you will be responsible for implementing teaching strategies to enable students to develop skills in Maths and achieve high grades.
The successful applicant will be passionate about Maths and have the ability to inspire interest and curiosity in students, enabling them to develop either basic, intermediate, or advanced skills in using mathematical calculations. You will be responsible for teaching Maths to at least GCSE Level, A Level, and potential Degree level, acting as a role model and working with other teaching staff to develop their technical teaching skills.
Our students join us from a variety of education areas, having had varying educational experiences, including secondary education, home education, or adult education where they have not achieved the basic level of a Grade C or Grade 4/5 Maths as a standard qualification. Some require Maths qualifications to progress to the next level of education, while others need the qualification to progress in their work life or chosen career. Some may have lost interest in the subject but need the qualification.
As part of their study programmes, it is essential they undertake their Maths qualifications, and they are seeking your expertise to help them achieve their goals and career aspirations.
